The Michael Kay Show debuted on July 15, 2002. Back then, the show was on a different frequency, 1050 ESPN Radio. Even though frequencies have changed, and some pieces have been added to the crew, the show is still going strong.
The show celebrated with some trips down memory lane and celebrity appearances. The show welcomed on Joey Salvia who performed the show’s opening theme that he wrote. He also performed the song on a Twitter video.
Peter Rosenberg had “the day off” but checked in with a celebrity appearance from Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore) who wished the show a happy anniversary.
