Verizon’s Fios TV will drop One America News next weekend after the two parties failed to reach a new contract agreement, per The Daily Beast.
If OAN does lose Verizon Fios, the only way to watch the news channel in the U.S. would be through the Alaska-based General Communications Inc. or little-known digital carriers KlowdTV and Vidgo.
“Verizon’s agreement with Herring Networks (Herring), the owner of One America News (OAN) and A Wealth of Entertainment (AWE), ends on July 30, 2022. We have been negotiating terms for a new agreement with Herring,” the note said posted to Verizon’s site.
“OAN and AWE will remain on Fios TV through July 30, and we will provide a notice on this website and the Fios TV Message Center of any changes that may be made after that date. Please check back for updates.”
OAN’s owner, Herring Networks Inc., has not yet made a statement on being dropped by its last large distributor. According to NextTV, after getting axed from DirecTV, OAN only gained about $550,000 monthly in pay-TV carriage fees, with the majority coming from Fios.

I am disappointed that Verizon decided not to continue to carry OAN, when OAN offered the station free to Verizon! I feel decision not to carry the station was a political move. We are the customer paying for a service we do not need the provider to control what the customer should watch.
Once again liberal corporation silences a conservative news organization! Amazing Verizon decided what is true and what is not – guess they don’t know the people who pay a lot of money for the service can decide truth from propaganda on their own – shame on you Verizon!!!!
