Former national radio host Ken Matthews shared exactly why he was fired by Talk Media Networks last week.
In an audio post shared via YouTube, Matthews said he was caught on an open mic swearing while reading some profane emails to his engineer that were written by Hunter Biden.
Matthews has done thousands of shows over the last three decades, he said this is the first that he can remember in which he was caught on an open microphone after his producer said that he was off the air.
“I want to apologize for some things heard on my July 12, 2022, radio show,” Matthews said. “I was unaware that most of everything I was discussing with my engineer off the air was being broadcast on the air yesterday.”
Matthews broadcast the final “Rush Limbaugh Show” right before Clay Travis and Buck Sexton took over permanently.
“Again, I apologize to you and will always remain grateful to you for taking the time to listen to my show(s). Be well. Be safe. God Bless America,” added Matthews.
“The Ken Matthews Show” is still listed on Harrisburg, Pennsylvania news/talk station WHP. Matthews has been in Harrisburg since 2013. Matthews’ show will run in the “best of” mode nationally until next month.
I am so sorry that this happened. It is my belief that Ken had important information to share with Americans. I listened as often as I could and appreciated Ken’s ideas and opinions. Now, because an unfortunate error, his voice on WHP has been silenced.
Best wishes to you,Ken. Please continue to seek and speak truth in this climate of confusion in our wonderful country.
Ken, I miss your show and the ardor with which you presented truth of what is happening in our country. Please never grow tired of telling it!
God keep you and strengthen you!
