Danny Amendola has called it career after thirteen seasons on the gridiron. His future is not on the field, but it could be on the air.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the Super Bowl champion is ready tp pursue “initial talks” with broadcasting networks. Schefter pointed out that Amendola is respected around the league and does have multiple relationships that he can lean on if that is what he chooses to do.
There does not seem to be a limit on the amount of rightsholders the NFL and its games will end up with, so the opportunity could be somewhere soon especially with the league and it’s partners constant pursuit of digital content.
