Keith Olbermann didn’t hold back on his criticism of Tucker Carlson during Friday’s episode of Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
After noting the Dallas CPAC keynote speaker Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, received a standing ovation from the crowd for saying “the globalists can all go to hell”, Olbermann had pointed words for the Fox News host.
“In facistspeak, here or in Hungary, the word ‘globalist’ means ‘jewish people’. Specifically, George Soros,” Olbermann said.
“‘We must take back the institutions in Washington’,” he quoted Orban, impersonating the Hungarian Prime Minister. “The lead story on Orban fanboy Tucker Carlson’s facsfest on Fox News? George Soros has been creating chaos for decades. Guess what kind of people Tucker Carlson doesn’t like?”
Orban, the European Union’s longest-serving head of state, has recently come under fire for his insistence that Europe not become a “mixed-race society“. One of his senior advisors, who is Jewish, resigned in protest over the comments, calling them “pure Nazi text”. Orban’s harshest critics call him an authoritarian despot. Meanwhile, his anti-Soros rhetoric has made him a favorite of conservatives.
Earlier this year, Orban said Carlson’s Fox News program should be “broadcasted day and night. Or as you say, 24/7.”
