Longtime Chicago sports radio host Dan McNeil is launching a new podcast in conjunction with BetRivers.
The Danny Mac Podcast will be available each Monday and Thursday on most podcast platforms, and a video version will air on YouTube on the BetRivers Network channel.
“Joining BetRivers and hosting The Danny Mac Podcast is a great way for me to continue to do what I love and to engage with sports fans,” said McNeil. “With football season starting soon this is a great opportunity for me to provide commentary and share my passion for sports with my fellow Chicagoans, as well as in other markets throughout the U.S. where BetRivers has sportsbooks.”
McNeil, who will be profiled by BSM’s Brian Noe Wednesday, was a host at Chicago sports stations ESPN 1000 and 670 The Score. He was fired from 670 The Score after comments he made regarding then-ESPN Reporter Maria Taylor’s wardrobe during an appearance on Monday Night Football.
