670 the Score is the Chicago Cubs flagship station in the Windy City and on Monday, Parkins and Spiegel got a pleasant surprise from Operations Manager Mitch Rosen.
Rosen, the longtime Program Director of the Score, came in and asked the crew of the afternoon drive show if they had plans for Tuesday. All of them were free and then Rosen stated the surprise for them and all of Chicago to hear:
“I’d like the Parkins and Spiegel Show to throw out the first pitch of the Cubs/Cardinals game tomorrow.”

“Whoa!” exclaimed Matt Spiegel.
“Hell yeah,” follow Danny Parkins.
Today the show had a chance to throw their first pitch in which Spiegel said they would be “locked and loaded” for. Below is Parkins’ toss to the plate.
