Denver news/talk 710 KNUS has a new morning host as George Brauchler takes over the vacant position left behind when Peter Boyles retired earlier this year.
Brauchler was the District Attorney for Colorado’s 18th Judicial District until 2021, after a failed run for the Attorney General of Colorado. Furthermore, he is a columnist for the Denver Post and local political blogs and contributes to Court TV.
“George is a great fit for the job,” Kelly Michaels, 710 KNUS Operations Manager, said in an announcement, per Radio Insight.
“He has grown from his weekend morning show to a brief daily show, following Peter. Over that time, he has proved to be a powerful communicator and entertainer.”
Outside of the media and political sphere, Brauchler is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. He has served as Chief of Military Justice for Fort Carson, the 4th Infantry Division, and the U.S. Division-North in Iraq.
“I’m excited to be a regular part of the 710 KNUS team,” Brauchler said. “With so much happening in Denver and our state, it’s thrilling to interact every day with our listeners on the issues.”
