After the surprising announcement that The Pat McAfee Show would leave the Mad Dog Sports Radio lineup on SiriusXM, the satcaster didn’t have to look for a replacement.
Dog Days with Dusty Dvoracek and Danny Kanell will debut in the 12:00 PM-3:00 PM timeslot on Mad Dog Sports Radio on Tuesday, September 6th.
The pair made the announcement on their current morning show. Sources confirm to BSM that Dusty and Danny will continue to air from 7:00 AM-9:00 AM on ESPNU Radio in addition to their new show on Mad Dog Sports Radio. Dusty and Danny began in August of last year after Dvoracek departed The Sports Animal.
Dvoracek, an Oklahoma grad, was a two-time All-Big 12 performer and played for four seasons in the NFL before launching a media career. He also works as an analyst for ESPN’s college football coverage.
Kanell was the ACC Player of the Year during his senior season at Florida State in 1995. He has since worked at ESPN Radio and FS1. In addition to his show on SiriusXM, Kanell works as a college football analyst for CBS Sports Network.
