Yesterday, 1210 WPHT announced a lineup shuffle. Morning host Rich Zeoli is moving to afternoons, while Nick Kayal will slide into the morning shift. Zeoli joked he’s already struggling.
“I’ve got senioritis. It’s like when you were in high school and had already gotten in to college, and you’re thinking ‘What the hell am I doing this for?'”, Zeoli said. “What’s the point?”
“The point is you’ve got a paycheck every two weeks,” 1210 WPHT Brand Manager and co-host Greg Stocker quipped.
“I’ve got senioritis! I remember when I got my acceptance letter from the University of Maryland, and I put it on the fridge, and I thought ‘Welp, I’m done with high school. That’s enough of that’. But apparently I had to show my high school diploma to get into Maryland”, Zeoli continued.
The host then told a story about a missing library book during his senior year, and his high school threatened to withhold his diploma until he returned the book. He was forced to purchase the book from Borders and return the brand new copy to the school.
