Saturday’s college football ratings are in and the top-rated broadcast belongs to the SEC on CBS.
Florida v. Tennessee earned the network 5.571 million viewers and their most watched broadcast of the season, topping last week’s high mark of 4.054 million viewers for Penn State v. Auburn.
The second highest rated game of the week belonged to ABC, which nabbed 4.587 million viewers in its primetime window for Wisconsin v. Ohio State. That was followed-up by FOX’s Big Noon Saturday game of Maryland v. Michigan which drew 4.378 million viewers.
ABC’s airing of Notre Dame v. North Carolina, opposite of the CBS afternoon SEC game, drew 3.458 million viewers. FOX was able to attract 3.369 million viewers for the primetime matchup of Kansas State v. Oklahoma.
ESPN’s afternoon airing of Texas v. Texas Tech resulted in 2.277 million viewers while FOX’s afternoon showing of Oregon v. Washington State drew 2.27 million viewers.
