New Bill O’Reilly Book Discusses Dramatic Shift in Cultural History

Political commentator and best-selling author Bill O’Reilly released a new book called “Killing the Legends: The Lethal Danger of Celebrity. This marks the 12th book in the Killing series.

O’Reilly appeared on “The Chris Stigall Show” Tuesday to discuss what readers can expect. He said the book examines the legacies and tragic deaths of Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and Muhammad Ali.

“This book is a pretty dramatic shift into cultural history,” said O’Reilly. “This is not Abraham Lincoln or George Patton; this is history that we are living right now,” he said.

He said readers will learn about the cultural relevance of the three men.

“I find that fascinating, so we wanted to tell the story about how they were titans but how they got crushed under the weight of celebrity,” he said.

O’Reilly added that being a celebrity is worse today than it was when Presley, Lennon, and Ali were alive.

“Two of the most famous guys in the country today are Trump and Biden,” he said. “Both have suffered by their own hand. I’m not making excuses, but Presley, Lennon, and Ali made choices, they’re not victims.”

O’Reilly said this book will expose the betrayal that the men experienced and the part they played in it.
