After three seasons on ESPN New Orleans, the New Orleans Pelicans are returning their radio broadcasts to News/Talk 99.5 WRNO.
WRNO, an iHeartMedia station, carried the Pelicans from 2015-2019.
“We’re looking forward to an exciting season with the New Orleans Pelicans. From live play-by-play on 99.5 WRNO to our shared passion for the city, a partnership with the New Orleans Pelicans is a natural fit across our eight brands,” said iHeartMedia New Orleans Area President Tori Kahl.
The new deal also features a weekly radio show with featuring exclusive interviews with Pelicans players, coaches, and front office executives. The show is scheduled to air every Thursday at 7:00 PM, unless there are scheduling conflicts with Pelicans games.
The radio crew remains intact as Todd Graffagnini will continue as play-by-play announcer. He’ll be joined by John DeShazier as color analyst and Erin Summers continues as sideline reporter. Gus Kattengell will serve as pre-game, halftime, and post-game host.
