Several news/talk radio stations and some translators will be bundled in a massive deal that includes 34 radio stations total in Central Pennsylvania.
According to Radio Insight, Seven Mountains Media has struck a $17.3 million deal with Forever Media Inc. which includes the assumption of $1.7 million in debt.
Last month, Seven Mountains Media reached a deal to purchase stations near State College, PA from First Media LLC for $2.075 million.
Seven Mountains Media is owned by Kristin Cantrell. Her father Kerby Confer is President of Forever Broadcasting.
Employees of Forever Media will reportedly be terminated and all existing employees of the stations included in the deal with Seven Mountains will receive offers of at-will employment.
