The wave of alternate broadcasts continues for the start of the NBA season thanks to the latest announcement from the Los Angeles Clippers.
The team announced a new direct-to-consumer streaming platform that will offer fans six ways to watch the team’s games.
Among the service’s options is a “BallerVision” feed with live commentary from Clippers legends like Jamal Crawford, Baron Davis, and Paul Pierce. Also available is the “CourtVision” stream with graphics for real-time shot probability and statistics. Korean and Spanish-language-broadcast feeds will also be offered to those wishing to subscribe.
“We’re trying to think about: How do we transform the experience our fans can have watching the game?” said Clippers owner Steve Ballmer.
The service will cost $199.99 for 74 games this season. It will also offer video-on-demand and be available to out-of-market and international Clippers fans via NBA League Pass.
