New Jersey talk radio host Bill Spadea is launching an interactive streaming show called “Common Ground with Bill Spadea.” The show begins Thursday and will be streamed on his website.
“It’s time to have a conversation about how to get this country back on track,” Spadea said. “There’s a lot more that unites us than divides us. Don’t listen to the corporate media, don’t listen to the political talking points.”
Spadea hosts the morning drive program on New Jersey 101.5. Spadea is a former Marine who was the Republican nominee for United States Congress in New Jersey’s 12th congressional district in 2004.
“We deserve as tax-paying Americans, we deserve results, not rhetoric,” he said. “Our cops and corrections officers will be defended, not the criminals. We deserve a government that is of the people, for the people, by the people.”
In addition to his morning program, Spadea hosts a show highlighting important community issues like public safety and addiction and recovery.
“Our government has been lying to us for too long,” Spadea said. “And the corrupt, corporate elites that have been lining their pockets on bad policy at our expense, it’s something that has to stop.”
“The only way to stop is to find our common ground,” he added.
