Joe Pags Unsure Why Media Blaming Donald Trump For Paul Pelosi Attack

The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Paul, is expected to make a full recovery after allegedly being attacked with a hammer by an intruder in his San Francisco residence Friday.

News media reacted to the incident with an analysis of possible motives. Police have identified the attacker as David DePape.

Texas-based syndicated radio host Joe Pags said Friday that he was confused by people trying to blame the incident on former President Donald Trump.

“I’ve seen some so-called news outlets try to say he was a Trump guy,” Pags said. “The picture of his (DePape’s) house where the neighborhood calls it a hippy house, has a pride flag and he’s married to a nudist, and they have a bunch of nude kids.”

Pags reiterated that DePape is the furthest thing that you could get from a “Trump-supporting MAGA guy.”

“He’s none of that,” said Pags. “He’s somebody that you might expect would be in Nancy Pelosi’s corner. My wonderment is what did she (Pelosi) do to make him want to go to her house?”

According to Bloomberg, DePape broke into the house and started screaming, “Where is Nancy?” Aerial views Friday around the Pelosi home showed a perimeter secured by a wall.

“How did he get in?” Pags asked. “I’ve heard reports that police arrived because of a wellness check. “I’m not making any allegations, but you think there’s a little more to the story.”
