UFC legend Daniel Cormier is launching a podcast with Colin Cowherd’s The Volume.
Cormier won both light heavyweight and heavyweight UFC championships during his illustrious career. He announced his retirement from the sport in 2020.
“Working alongside Colin for several years, it was clear he had an entrepreneurial spirit and an eye for talent. It’s no surprise that he’s built The Volume into a successful media company that features some of the most compelling voices in sports,” Cormier said. “I’ve watched closely as Draymond (Green) and Richard (Sherman) have produced must-watch shows that drive the conversation. I’m excited to bring that same approach to The Volume’s MMA coverage and deliver fans insightful analysis and provocative discussions.”
Cormier has previously hosted the DC & RC podcast with former NFL defensive back Ryan Clark for ESPN. There is no word on what the news of Cormier joining The Volume means for the future of DC & RC.
The Volume, launched by Cowherd in 2021, has added several former prominent athletes to its roster, including Draymond Green and Richard Sherman.
