Things have not gone well for Elon Musk since his takeover of Twitter was completed, and Dan Le Batard believes Stugotz deserves credit for being early on the bandwagon for calling Musk a “fraud”.
“I wanted to talk to Stugotz because a victory lap is in order,” Le Batard said. “I don’t believe there was anyone in our country — or any country, internationally — who was calling Elon Musk a fraud long before anybody else was, not understand his wealth. Honestly, he doesn’t get enough credit for this.:
“I don’t talk about him anymore, I just wanna go out on top,” Stugotz said. “That’s really are there is to say.”
“Your crowning achievement is to crush this man for several years. You were first before anybody was. And now Twitter is a wildly entertaining dumpster being shot into the sky at a million miles an hour to clearly disappear soon in some frenzy. I’ve never seen a story — this probably goes without saying I’m guessing — this has never happened before. The idea that anything would be purchased for $44 billion and two weeks later there are quotes about bankruptcy. It’s not possible to go through real money at that speed! In two weeks!
“To go from ‘He is the smartest genius in the world. He’s gonna save the economy by making electric cars and save the future of the planet because we won’t need gas anymore as the oil companies run government’, Elon Musk is gonna turn out to be unmasked by Stugotz of all people.”
