Charlie Kirk, Dan Bongino Mentioned in Twitter Files Part Two Reporting

The reported second part of the Twitter files is out, and The Free Press’ Bari Weiss’ relayed the information on the activity from staffers at the social media company.

Weiss forwarded that Twitter employees build blacklists, stop disfavored tweets from trending, and actively restrict the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics—all in secret, without notifying users.

Some conservative talk show hosts were part of the reported blacklist, such as Dan Bongino, who at one point was hit with a “Search Blacklist.” Twitter also set the account of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to “Do Not Amplify.”

Twitter denied that it does such things; nonetheless, Weiss added that “what many people call “shadow banning,” Twitter executives and employees call “Visibility Filtering” or “VF.” Multiple high-level sources confirmed its meaning.”
