Joe Shasky: ‘If You Want To Rip Me, That Means I’m Doing My Job’

Every radio host appreciates their dedicated listeners. On Wednesday’s edition of The Morning Roast on 95.7 The Game in San Francisco, Joe Shasky made it clear that he is even thankful for the people that listen and follow him on social media just so they can correct him.

Co-host Bonta Hill was talking about the listeners that go out of their way to say hello and celebrate big moments for the Bay Area’s teams together. That is when Shasky jumped in to say that it wasn’t just the positives that are worth celebrating.

“I love when people tag stuff on the internet that are like ‘Look at you idiots saying X, Y, and Z. Saying Shanahan should be fired. Joe, you said Klay was Kyle Korver.’”

People that work in the media know that being interesting is always more valuable than being right. Joe Shasky appreciates that he has people that are interested in what he has to say.

“Do I make you think? Do I make you laugh? Do I make you want to rip me through the radio waves? If it’s one of those emotions, I’m doing my job.”
