77 WABC Adds Emmy Award-Winner Ernie Anastos To Daily Lineup

Emmy award-winning news anchor Ernie Anastos will host a daily, two-minute interview feature on 77 WABC starting Monday. In a statement, the station said the feature will air twice daily, during morning and afternoon drive.

Anastos’ distinguished career recently ended at WNYW-TV when he was hired at the Harvard Business School to teach a course in media management. In addition to his work at WNYW, Anastos filled in at “Good Morning America” and “CBS Morning News.” He was a fixture on newscasts for millions of Americans for 40 years.

“We always hear the bad and not often the good that comes out of the news. My passion has always been to inform, educate and inspire,” said Anastos.
