77 WABC Radio has made a noteworthy addition. The New York talk radio station announced Monday the addition of Andrew Giuliani as a regular contributor. Giuliani, the son of former New York City mayor and current WABC host Rudy Giuliani, lost to Lee Zeldin in the 2022 GOP gubernatorial primary.
In a news release, the station said Giuliani will contribute to “Sid & Friends in the Morning,” hosted by Sid Rosenberg. In addition, he will guest co-host “Cats at Night,” the 5 to 6 pm weekday show hosted by John Catsimatidis, owner of 77 WABC Radio and parent Red Apple Media.
“It’s an honor to be a part of the #1 news/talk station in New York,” said Giuliani. “WABC Radio is a combination of its rich history and incredible rebirth. I’m excited to get on the air and connect with the WABC Radio listeners in New York and around the world.”
Giuliani was a special assistant to the President and associate director of the Office of Public Liaison during the Trump administration. In his position, he interfaced between the White House and business, nonprofit, and other groups, meeting with President Trump up to four times a week.
He collaborated with the Department of Treasury and business leaders to craft the Paycheck Protection Program and worked to vet and shape President Trump’s Great American Reopening Committee.
“I’ve always admired Andrew’s tenacity as a politician and his quick wit, and I look forward to bringing that dynamic to WABC,” stated Chad Lopez, President of 77 WABC Radio and Red Apple Media.
77 WABC features Sid Rosenberg, Curtis Sliwa, and more. In addition, the station serves as the flagship for the Red Apple Audio Networks, which syndicates the Cats Roundtable with John Catsimatidis, Greg Kelly, Rita Cosby, America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and more.
