Pam Oliver Returning to FOX for 29th Season

Pam Oliver has covered the NFL on FOX for longer than some of the league’s top players have been alive. That will not change next season. Oliver told Richard Deitsch of The Athletic that she is committed to returning for her 29th season.

It is a little early to know exactly what next season will look like. It is the last one on Oliver’s current contract.

“I’m committed for another year,” she said. “Beyond that, it’s a process where you sit down and think about it. It’s a two-way street, of course. I’ve kind of been assured for as long as I want to do this job, I can, and they’ve been really good about figuring out where I am and what I’d like to do. I’m sure they’ve got plans of their own, but when you tell me that I can do this for as long as I want to, I expect that to be the case.”

Pam Oliver has opened up in the past about her struggle with chronic migraines. She told Deitsch that she still cannot explain why they occur or why they are so severe, but this past season things improved a bit.

“It wasn’t like six days’ worth of migraines like before. It was down to two or three days, so I did feel better most weeks. But it was still pretty prevalent.”

Oliver spent the 2022 season working with FOX’s number two booth of Joe Davis and Daryl Johnson.
