St. Louis TV sportscaster Brooke Grimsley is going back to where her broadcasting career began – sports radio.
Grimsley on Monday announced that she will soon be leaving her role at CBS affiliate KMOV in St. Louis and joining The Opening Drive on 101 ESPN with Randy Karraker and Carey Davis.
Grimsley, a Middle Tennessee State University grad, got her start in sports radio as an intern on 3HL on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville.
“While I loved TV broadcasting, I knew that I wanted to get back to sports radio one day and I’m thrilled they’re taking me on,” Grimsley wrote on Twitter. “Grateful for the journey and what lies ahead.”
Her debut on 101 ESPN will be on March 6. Grimsley’s last day at KMOV will be March 29.
