David Westin is exiting Bloomberg TV‘s Balance of Power program for a new role with the business network.
The former ABC News President began anchoring the program in January 2020, but will now anchor daily segments tied to the network’s Wall Street Week.
Westin’s final program anchoring Balance of Power will be Friday, March 10th.
His departure isn’t the only change to the program. The show will now move from New York to Washington D.C. and will begin airing at 5:00 PM ET instead of its previous noon ET timeslot. The show will trade dayparts with Bloomberg Technology, which steps into the noon window.
The show — which is centered on the intersection of politics and business — will be able to welcome more political leaders and analysts while based in the nation’s capital.
After the move, the show will be helmed by anchors Joe Mathieu and Annmarie Horden.
