Afternoon drive in Syracuse will sound different moving forward, as host Brent Axe revealed on Sunday that Friday’s edition of On The Block was his last at the Galaxy Media station.
Axe will continue in his role at syracuse.com where he’s worked the last decade. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University’s prestigious Newhouse School of Public Communications.

No official word from the station on who will be replacing Axe. His show aired from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Just last year, Brent Axe celebrated twenty years on the air in Syracuse. He worked at 1260 The Score, and Sportsradio 620 WHEN prior to ESPN Syracuse.
