WBAL Adds Coast to Coast AM To Daily Lineup

WBAL has announced the addition of Coast to Coast AM with George Noory to its daily lineup.

It is the second change to the station’s lineup in recent weeks. Earlier this month, WBAL added former Baltimore City Police Department spokesperson T.J. Smith to host the station’s midday window.

The move fills a noticeable hole in the station’s offerings. Previously, a re-air of the station’s afternoon show — hosted by Torrey Snow and Dan Joseph — aired in the overnight hours, along with a television simulcast of the 4:30 AM newscast from WBAL-TV.

Coast to Coast AM has enthralled late-night listeners for decades,” says WBAL Director of Programming/News Director Jeff Wade.  “The show’s unique blend of topics and issues, and live coverage of news events as they happen, make it the ideal complement to WBAL’s live and local daytime talk lineup.”

The addition of the program returns Noory to Baltimore, where the show was previously heard on 680 WCBM until it was dropped in May 2022.

“It’s great to be back in the Charm City!” Noory said. “As a young boy, I’d spend many days visiting family, and even took in a few Oriole games. I couldn’t be more excited to be heard on the legendary WBAL.”

Noory recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of the program, which is now heard on nearly 650 stations across the country.

Coast to Coast AM will begin airing on WBAL on Monday, April 3rd.
