The NFL Draft is a week away, and even though ESPN and NFL Network will compete against each other for viewership over the three-day event, the two are coming together in coverage leading up to the big weekend in Kansas City.
ESPN names like Mel Kiper Jr., Todd McShay and Louis Riddick will be making appearances on NFL Network programming, while NFL’s Daniel Jeremiah and Kurt Warner will be guests on ESPN shows.
Kiper showed up on Good Morning Football on Thursday and McShay was on Path to the Draft. Jeremiah was featured on NFL Live and on SportsCenter.
Warner will be on Get Up Friday morning, while Riddick will appear on NFL Total Access that afternoon.
The draft expert crossovers for this week were planned, but that doesn’t mean more couldn’t happen next week. Both networks will send their talent and production crews to Kansas City ahead of Thursday night’s first round.
In addition to ESPN and NFL Network, ABC will have its own NFL Draft coverage for the sixth consecutive year.
