Mark Simone: Allegations Against Rudy Giuliani ‘Too Salacious and Over the Top’ to Be Believed

Yesterday, a former employee of 77 WABC host Rudy Giuliani filed a lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct by the former New York mayor, as well as other various improprieties. 710 WOR host Mark Simone said he doesn’t believe the accuser.

“I’ve known him pretty well for many years. I just don’t believe it,” Simone said on The Mark Simone Show Tuesday. “It’s one thing if there was a woman who came forward and said ‘One night, we were working late and he put his arm around me’, or whatever. That stuff you can believe, but these allegations are over the top.

“‘Every time I walked in, he grabbed my head and pushed it down and forced me to give oral sex and then he was popping Viagara’. Do you believe that? It’s too much for me. It’s just not him. If you read this whole thing, it’s just so salacious and over the top. I just don’t believe it. It’s too crazy. Too over the top.”

Noelle Dunphy alleges that Giuliani raped and sexually abused her during her tenure working for him. She also claims the 77 WABC host owes her more than $2 million in back pay. Additionally, she claims Giuliani required her to work naked and strip during video calls. She also shared that he made racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic remarks throughout her time in his office.

Also included in the allegations is that Giuliani was selling pardons from President Donald Trump for $2 million, with him and the 45th president splitting the money. However, Simone didn’t find that plausible, either.

“If this were the case, he’s not gonna tell a brand new employee that’s been there two weeks. It just doesn’t make sense. It’s not logical,” concluded Simone.

Giuliani was present during his regularly scheduled show on 77 WABC Tuesday afternoon, and defend himself against the allegations.

“I am a punching bag for these folks,” Giuliani said. “The New York Post won’t report what I’m telling you. MSNBC is talking about this. This is her third or fourth accusation of rape against me. What I’m telling you is 100% true. This is a woman who does this for a living. She sues men to get money for a living!”

He added that Dunphy never actually worked for him and said all allegations against him were untrue.
