CNN has announced a pair of correspondents have received promotions and new roles with the company.
David Culver has been elevated to Senior National Correspondent for the network. The Los Angeles-based reporter has done several in-depth reports from the U.S./Mexico border and has also reported extensively on relations between the U.S. and China while based in Beijing.
Prior to joining CNN in 2019, Culver worked at NBC Washington.
Eva McKend has been promoted to national political correspondent. While based in Washington D.C., McKend has already played a role in the network’s political coverage after reporting on the expanding field of potential 2024 Republican presidential nominees.
She joined CNN in 2021 after previously working for Spectrum News 1 and WCAX in Burlington, Vermont.
