After CNN’s bombshell report that it had acquired audio that purports to show former President Donald Trump admitting he failed to declassify documents as he showed them to people without proper security clearance, many have asked how CNN got the audio. Dan Bongino is a member of that group.
During his podcast Tuesday, the nationally syndicated radio host first took issue with there being a lack of reporting on President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents.
“Notice none of the classified documents our rotting bag of oatmeal in the White House, Joe Biden, none of those have leaked. We don’t know what those were about, even though it was spoken about a couple of weeks ago,” Bongino said. “That these were called national security documents. They could have been really serious. We haven’t seen those documents yet. But the tape leaked out for Trump.”
Bongino then turned his attention to CNN, publicly questioning their relationship with the Department of Justice.
“I’ll be honest with you, it doesn’t sound great. And nor should we pretend it does. But there are a number of open questions about this…How the hell did CNN get this tape? Probably the same way they knew to show up at Roger Stone’s house for a raid. Because the swamp and the media are working hand in hand to get rid of Trump.”
