Earlier this week, CNN’s John King argued special counsel Jack Smith grabbing a sandwich from Subway was “a message” to former Donald Trump that he wouldn’t be intimated. Clay Travis and Buck Sexton marveled at the analysis.
During The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show Wednesday, the pair are the commentary from King, before opining on it.
“Is that the dumbest commentary you’ve heard all year?” Sexton asked Travis.
“It might be the dumbest. I mean, it’s one thing for John King to say it. He’s really sending a message… For Dana Bash to follow up with John King said ‘I think what he did spoke volumes’? Volumes? Like, you could write an entire book about what Jack Smith going to get a Subway sub sent messages? It’s volumes, not just one book, Buck, like the Encyclopedia Britannica of fast food orders. It’s so incredibly stupid. I can’t believe that it’s real.”
