Bill O’Reilly: Fox News Isn’t Focused On What’s Important in Trump’s Defense

As Donald Trump faces another indictment, former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly says the former President has a solid defense, but you won’t hear that on the news.

During his Common Sense program on 77 WABC, O’Reilly argued that Fox News, which he would think would be rushing to Trump’s defense, wasn’t quick and ardent enough in their support of the 45th President.

“You wouldn’t know that Trump has a good defense by reading The New York Times, Washington Post, any of those corrupt papers, or listening to most of the television news,” O’Reilly shared.

“Even the Fox News Channel is so unfocused on this, generally speaking. Guys like (Jonathan) Turley and people like that, who have a great sharp focus, but it’s all over the place and they’re not zeroed in on what is important.”

O’Reilly has become increasingly critical of Fox News in recent months. After the network fired former popular Tucker Carlson in April, O’Reilly argued that the network would “diminish” without him. He has also claimed that the network is only focused on increasing revenue and profit rather than advancing conservative causes.
