Buck Sexton: MSNBC Has to ‘Work Audience Into a Frenzy’ For Each Scandal

The latest indictment of Donald Trump has dominated the news, both on cable news and in conservative radio. Buck Sexton didn’t like what he saw on MSNBC.

“Over at MSNBC, they have to get that audience as frenzied about this indictment as they possibly can,” Sexton said during The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show Wednesday. “And that brings me to this comparison of January 6, to, you ready for it? 9/11, Osama bin Laden, and Pearl Harbor. Donald Trump is, in this instance, kind of like Osama. A threat to America.”

The show then played a clip of an MSNBC contributor sharing his belief that there are certain days in American history where democracy was at stake and included January 6th on that list.

Sexton continued by noting that watching the World Trade Centers crumble on September 11th motivated him to join the CIA. He noted that he voted for Donald Trump twice, but would have never voted for Osama Bin Laden to be the President of the United States, so conflating the two was in poor taste.

He concluded by saying MSNBC has to jump to ridiculous conclusions as justification for their stances.

“What’s with these crazy comparisons? Because they have to find a way to justify emotionally, psychologically, and politically, the extreme nature of what they have done.”
