Dan Dakich: ‘I Like the Combination’ of Skip Bayless and Richard Sherman

Date:

Former NFL All-Pro Richard Sherman is joining Skip Bayless on FS1’s Undisputed, and OutKick host Dan Dakich believes the pairing will lead to good television.

During Don’t @ Me Tuesday, Dakich argued that Bayless is the best in the business at his craft, and being paired with someone like Sherman — who once noticeably challenged Bayless during his NFL career — could bring the best out of both of them.

“I’m sure the show’s gonna be great because Skip carries it,” said Dakich. “Sherman is awful on Amazon, but Sherman is opinionated. And there is history between the two which I like… I like the combination. I’m not mad at it. It’ll be fine. It’s interesting. The media fawns over Sherman.”

Dan Dakich then noted that Sherman once told Bayless that he isn’t at the top of his field, which the former college basketball coach pushed back against.

“Of course, Skip Bayless is one of the 22 best at what he does. In fact, he is the best at what he does. I would say Stephen A. Smith is second but that’s really the only two that do what they do. But Richard Sherman joining Undisputed should make for some pretty good TV.”

The comments from the OutKick host came after he shared his opinion of Bayless’ former sparring partner Shannon Sharpe.

“Shannon Sharpe — who was awful at the job — became a martyr. He became a much — I guess — sought-after media personality. He was horrible. Absolutely horrible,” concluded Dakich.
