AM 1240 KFMO Program Director and host Sean Malone has been added to KMOX in St. Louis as a news reporter.
“On Monday, I begin my first day as a news reporter for KMOX in St. Louis,” Malone said in a social media post announcing the move. “KMOX is a legendary station here in St. Louis and across the Midwest and to be given work there is truly an honor.”

During Malone’s tenure leading AM 1240 KFMO, the station was named Missouri Broadcasters Association Station of the Year in 2023.
Malone had served as the Farmington, Missouri news/talk station’s Program Director since 2019.
“I’ve truly loved my time working here for and with wonderful people who entrusted me to rebrand and grow KFMO into what it is today,” Malone added.
