Ahead of kickoff for the 2023 National Football League season, Rich Eisen is introducing a new podcast inspired by one of the most popular segments on his eponymous radio program, The Rich Eisen Show. Eisen will be joined by co-host Chris Brockman for the new OverReaction Monday podcast, during which the duo will give their opinions on the quarterback play each Monday. The range of topics will extend beyond the NFL, also encompassing the performances of college quarterbacks on Saturdays.
“Every Monday, we’re going to dive into the headlines from pro and college football and overreact,” Eisen said. “Are you ready, Chris Brockman? Yea or nay?”
“Yes, Rich,” Brockman said. “No holding back buddy – I’m coming for you.”
The overreactions, for now, have to do with preseason performances affecting projections for the regular season. Over the course of the NFL offseason, it has expanded to include more than just quarterback play, discussing various news items and transactions with the potential to affect the football landscape.
While it has not been confirmed, OverReaction Monday will likely still be part of The Rich Eisen Show, which is available to listen to on various radio stations, podcasting platforms and streaming live on Roku Channel. The podcast will presumably add another layer to the segment, which frequently garners hundreds of thousands of views on a weekly basis.
