Vice President Kamala Harris recently sat down with MSNBC’s Al Sharpton for a two-part interview. The first installment did not receive rave reviews from 1210 WPHT host Rich Zeoli.
“Al Sharpton gave a suck-up sit-down interview to Vice President Kamala Harris on his low-rated Saturday afternoon program Politics Nation,” The Rich Zeoli Show host said Monday. “Dozens of people tuned in. The second half won’t air until August 26. She may go into a little bit of withdrawal. You know what I mean?”
Zeoli later mocked an answer given by the Vice President. After Sharpton asked what the first thing she thinks about in the morning is, she replied “Our democracy”.
“You’re so full of crap. This is why people don’t like you. Because nobody believes that. Nobody believes that,” argued Zeoli. “I wake up in the morning — first thing I think about, I mean, honestly, the first thing I think of — is the coffee, man. That is the immediate first thought that comes to my head. Don’t talk to me until I’ve had a cup of coffee. I’m not addicted to it.”
