A month after sports talk radio returned to the airwaves in State College, Pa., 98.7 The Fox has revealed its local programming lineup.
Let’s Talk hosted by Scott Geesey and Jeff Byers will be the first local show of the day. It will air Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Byers is the play-by-play voice of Penn State wrestling.
Steve Jones, who voices play-by-play for Nittany Lions football and men’s basketball, will host The Steve Jones Show from 1-3 p.m. Jones’ program is also carried on Newsradio 1070 WKOK in nearby Sunbury.
The 3-5 p.m. window will feature different programming across the week. On Mondays and Fridays from 3-5, The Keystone Sports Kickoff Show hosted by Jim Galanti will be heard. The show will air from 3-4 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Goon and Ironhead Show, hosted by Byers and Keith Conlin will air from 3-5 on Tuesday and Thursday. A high school-specific show, Ironhead on Sports will run from 3-4 on Wednesdays.
Meanwhile, PA Sports Now with Jed Donahue will air from 5-7 p.m.
The station will carry high school programming on Wednesday nights from 7-8, with a Friday night football show Centre County Red Zone planned for the upcoming season.
The Fox will air FOX Sports Radio programming the rest of the time.
