Chattanooga media personality Jed Mescon has been named the Program Director of Talk Radio 102.3 FM and 1150 AM WGOW.
Mescon worked in local television in the market for 28 years before shifting to a marketing and community engagement role with a health system, credit union, and local school.
In addition to serving as the Program Director of the two news/talk stations, Mescon will also work on the Talk Radio 102.3 morning show.
“I spent 28 years waking up at 2:45 AM to bring the news to Chattanooga. This brings me back to my roots, doing both news and co-hosting mornings from 6-10 AM on WGOW Talk Radio 102.3.”
Jed Mescon will step into the role vacated after Kevin West retired from the stations in June after 35 years.
