Depending on perspective, one could argue that any number of candidates were treated with a bias during the first 2024 Republican Presidential debate on Fox News Wednesday. Howie Carr argued the network showed a bias against former President Donald Trump in the leadup to the night’s festivities.
“Do you want to know how on the level the Fox News debate is? I mean, it’s not a it’s not a huge story, but I think it’s emblematic of just how crooked the Murdoch organization has gotten,” said Carr during The Howie Carr Show Wednesday. “They’re doing all these focus groups.”
Carr then noted that debate moderator Martha MacCallum was hosting a “man on the street” style interview, and asked a Black Wisconsin voter some questions.
“The Fox News panel yesterday came up with Chris Lawrence, he’s a ‘Wisconsin GOP voter’, ok? Do you know who he works for? Would you care? Would you care to guess if he works for an A pro-Trump group or an anti-Trump group?… A Wisconsin GOP voter according to Fox has worked as the past nine years as the Senior Field Director for the group Americans for Prosperity. Who are the Americans for Prosperity? That’s the Koch brothers group. The Koch brothers have pledged…$70 million to defeat Donald Trump.
“So he’s a man on the street. But the street he’s on is Easy Street because he’s working for the Koch brothers. That’s how on the level the Fox News debate is.”
