After devastating wildfires have struck portions of Maui, KFI AM-640 is planning a special program on the events.
KFI’s Steve Gregory will host Maui Island Inferno for the iHeartMedia station.
“Gregory became the center of controversy when, during a press conference, he pushed Hawaii Governor Josh Green for answers and access to the fire scenes. Local and national media covered the exchange and became the foundation for other reporters to push back, seeking transparency and accountability,” a press release from the company states.
The special will feature exclusive interviews from Gregory who was on the ground reporting on the situation.
Gregory will speak with government officials, islanders, and others about the fires and what the plan to rebuild and recuperate from the tragedy will entail.
