Amanda Gifford Leads College Football, Mark Gross Over NFL in ESPN Reorg

Following the sudden exit of Lee Fitting, ESPN had to make some changes to its organizational structure. Norby Williamson, the network’s executive editor and head of event and studio production, announced new leaders in a number of areas.

Fitting oversaw all football production. That job will be divided by two network veterans. Amanda Gifford will oversee all college football production including the College Football Playoff.

NFL production will now be the responsibility of SVP/Production and Remote Events Mark Gross. He takes over both studio and event production. He will also oversee ESPN Radio.

Shawn Murphy will oversee all high school football and lower level college football. He will also be a part of SEC Network production. All three will report to Gross.
