What is Jay Williams doing after ESPN? He is going into business with ESPN. He made the announcement Friday on social media.
“So over the last several months, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from a lot of people. ‘JWill, what are you going to do next? Are you going to set your own stage? Are you going to keep it a buck? Are you going to build your own platform?’ The answer is ya damn right I am, and I’m going to do it right at ESPN,” he said in a video.
Williams did not have details to offer. He thanked Burke Magnus and Jimmy Pitaro as well as his own team for getting a deal done.
“Sit back, relax, get some popcorn ready,” Williams said. “It’s about to get cracking, and there’s more announcements to come. Stay tuned.”
Last month, Williams’s contract at ESPN expired. He said farewell to ESPN Radio’s morning show at that time, which he had been a part of since 2020.
