According to several reports, NBC News and Salem Media Group are working together to host a 2024 Republican Presidential debate later this year.
The third Republican debate is expected to be held in Miami in November, according to a report from CNN.
However, NBC News won’t host the debate alone, reportedly joining forces with conservative talk radio giant Salem Media Group in the process.
Fox News hosted the first Republican debate last month, which garnered a staggering 13 million viewers.
The second debate is scheduled for later this month at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California. That event will air on Fox Business Network and Univision.
While former President Donald Trump has praised NBC News host Kristen Welker for her work as debate moderator in 2020, he told SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly in an interview Thursday that he’s unlikely to participate in any debates.
