Earlier this year, 77 WABC hosted an hour-long interview with former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D). It took place during The Mark Levin Show, and the Great One wasn’t happy about it and shared his displeasure with Sid Rosenberg.
During Sid and Friends in the Morning Friday, Rosenberg welcomed Fox News anchor and 77 WABC host Brian Kilmeade to the show. Levin recently took Kilmeade’s hour in the Fox News Saturday primetime lineup, to which Kilmeade — who is moving to the 9:00 PM ET timeslot on the cable channel — was complimentary of the longtime talk radio host.
Sid Rosenberg then shared that he and Levin have beef, saying “Mark Levin, I think, is overrated”. After Kilmeade said Levin was “one of the coolest guys”, Rosenberg shared the story of how the two clashed recently.
“He and I have been in a fight for a long time here,” said Rosenberg. “He was really pissed off because a couple of months ago…John Catsimatidis — who we love dearly — decided to take an hour from Mark Levin and gave it to Andrew Cuomo.
“Levin went on the air — on his national show that night — and just blistered John Catsimatidis and me because when John was on my show, promoting it, I didn’t defend Mark Levin and say, ‘John, you shouldn’t do it’. And he actually called me ‘skeevy’ or, I don’t know, he used an adjective that was really not very nice for no reason. All I did was comply with what my owner on what to do at my station. So I’ve lost a lot of respect for Mark Levin.”
Kilmeade then joked that Rosenberg and Levin needed help from celebrity doctor Drew Pinsky.
“Well, you guys have to work it out. And I believe that’s why you need Dr. Drew,” Kilmeade chuckled. “Dr. Drew has the type of therapeutic background to get you guys in a room and in group therapy.”
