95.7 The Game, KNBR Involved in Tight Race in the San Francisco Summer Ratings Book

95.7 The Game and KNBR have been locked in a tight ratings race, with the summer book showing just how close the two San Francisco sports talk stations are in the battle for Men 25-54 listenership.

Starting in morning drive, KNBR’s Murph and Mac — hosted by Brian Murphy and Paul McCaffrey — pulled in a 3.1 share to finish 13th, which placed them ahead of 95.7 The Game’s The Morning Roast with Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky. The Game’s morning team was just three tenths of a point behind with a 2.8, which had them 15th in the market. This was a reversal from the spring book where The Game won the morning drive battle.

In middays, Steiny and Guru featuring Matt Steinmetz and Daryle ‘Guru’ Johnson registered a 3.3, 9th place ranking to finish in front of KNBR’s Papa & Lund featuring John Lund and 49ers radio voice Greg Papa. The KNBR midday show delivered a 3.2 share for the quarter, which put them in 11th place.
