As the Philadelphia 76ers inch closer to the start of the 2023-24 season, the team now has its pregame and postgame host in Matt Murphy.
Murphy announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday.
He has been serving as the digital content coordinator for the Sixers since 2021. He’s been involved in the Sixers organization for longer than that, joining the Sixers G League team the Delaware Blue Coats in 2018 as a play-by-play broadcaster, social media manager, and communications associate.
Murphy became the youngest TV play-by-play voice in the G League when he debuted at the age of 22.
Before that, Matt Murphy had stints at Westwood One and Alvernia University in Pennsylvania.
