It was another successful summer ratings book in Buffalo for WGR 550. The market’s dominant sports radio brand earned high marks in the coveted Men 25-54 demographic for the quarter.
In weekday prime (M-F 6a-7p), the station finished 2nd in the market with a 9.1 share.
Turning to mornings, The Jeremy & Joe Show— featuring Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase from 6a-10a — finished 1st with a 13.0 share. DiBiase stepped into the shoes vacated by Howard Simon when he retired after 18 years co-hosting alongside White.
WGR 550 splits middays between The Extra Point with Sal Capaccio from 10a-1p and One Bills Live from 1p-3p. Additionally, during the hockey season, the station will air Sabres Live in the daypart from 12p-1p. Combining the two slots into the main midday window (10a-3p), the station garnered a 7th place finish for the book with a 4.9 share.
Wrapping up the local shows with a loo at afternoons, Schopp and Bulldog — featuring the popular duo of Mike Schopp and Chris “The Bulldog” Parker continued its long run of ratings success, finishing 2nd between 3p-7p with an 11.3 share.
For the full week (M-SU 6a-Mid), the station earned a 7.8 share, good for 3rd in the market.
